Paul Phillips is a Marine and law enforcement veteran, ELR competitor, and instructor focused on long-range fundamentals and wind.

Paul Phillips is the founder of Global Precision Group and brings 30 years of combined US Marine Corps and law enforcement experience to his instruction. His background includes service as a USMC infantryman in a Scout Sniper Platoon, a Combat Action Ribbon, and graduating top of class at FBI Sniper School. He also holds an International Distinguished Shooting Badge and a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State.
His teaching centers on extreme long range shooting fundamentals, especially ballistics, wind reading, shooting form, and the spotter-shooter relationship. That matters because his competitive record is tied directly to the same problems ELR shooters need to solve on demand, including King of 2 Miles titles, back-to-back NRA ELR National Championships, and more than 40 NRA national records.
Phillips also provides military and law enforcement precision training and runs small-group courses with equipment and mile-plus targets available. His background as both a shooter and coach gives him practical depth in team communication, corrections, and making impacts at distance.

Global Precision Group, led by Marine veteran and ELR competitor Paul Phillips in central Michigan, provides extreme long range training, consulting, and MIL/LE instruction.
