Phillip “Phil” Velayo is the Founder and CEO of The Cadre Training, a precision rifle training organization built by former Marine Scout Snipers and competitive shooters. A former USMC Scout Sniper, Velayo served as a Primary Marksmanship Instructor at the Scout Sniper School in Camp Pendleton, where he helped develop the next generation of military snipers and was nominated for Instructor of the Year.
After leaving the military, he became Lead Instructor at Gunwerks Long Range University before establishing himself as a top-level competitor, winning the 2018 Precision Rifle Series Finale.
