Ben Franklin Range is a purpose-built, all-access shooting complex located in Templeton, Pennsylvania. Spanning 1,100 rugged acres, it offers a broad spectrum of environments tailored for shooters who train hard and shoot long. From turf-lined 100-yard bays to ELR stages reaching out to 2,500 yards, the range supports everything from PRS-style precision to force-on-force CQB scenarios.
The two main flat ranges are each 50m wide by 100m long, one of which is fully turfed for paper targets and the other set up for steel targets and obstacle integration. For distance shooters, the facility includes a 600-meter known-distance range, a 900-meter natural terrain UKD setup, and ELR steel targets placed beyond 2,000 yards. A two-story, 6,000 sq. ft. shoot house adds close-quarters realism with Simulations and airsoft capabilities.
Additional features include:
- 65+ miles of off-road trails, helicopter and para drop zones, and land nav terrain
- Pro shop, on-site lodging, and trailer hookups for extended training stays
- Open-ended range use with no sound or time restrictions
BFR regularly hosts PRS-style team sniper matches and ELR events and is available for private rentals by vetted instructors, law enforcement, or military units.
