Located just north of town at 61 County Road 7WC, the Cody Shooting Complex is a public-access facility serving many shooting disciplines. The grounds include rifle ranges with targets from 25 to 550 yards, plus steel targets positioned beyond for extended-distance practice. While a 900-yard match rifle range exists, it is inactive and unavailable for regular use.
The facility supports shotgun shooters with sporting clays, trap, skeet courses, and dedicated spaces for pistol and carbine training. Though the exact setup for prone or barricade shooting isn’t detailed, the range is frequented by serious rifle shooters. It is well-suited for testing gear, dialing dope, and general marksmanship development.
Amenities include RV camping with hookups, a red-light safety system, and an access road to downrange steel. Day passes are $25, and annual memberships, granting unlimited access across venues, are available for $135.
Cody Shooting Complex is well-suited for civilian shooters and long-range hunters looking to refine their skills to mid-distance steel.
