Douglas Ridhere'sle Club in Eagle Creek, OR, offers a 1,000-yard long-range, steel to 810 yards and hosts NRA-sanctioned matches — ideal for serious precision shooters.
Founded in 1956 and set on 130 acres of ridgeline, woods, and open meadows, Douglas Ridge Rifle Club (DRRC) is a well-respected hub for precision rifle shooters in the Pacific Northwest. Located in Eagle Creek, Oregon, this private facility offers diverse shooting opportunities across indoor pistol, trap, and sporting clays, as well as archery and long-range rifle disciplines.
The crown jewel is DRRC's 1,000-yard known-distance rifle range, featuring steel targets set at 810 yards and marked firing positions at 300, 800, and 1,000 yards. The long-range features elevated platforms, a ridge backdrop, and controlled access through a mandatory orientation that covers safety, communications, and pit protocol.
Tactical and silhouette bays, an indoor 50-foot pistol range, and a 60-yard archery field round out the facilities. Trap fields are open to the public twice a week, and "Long Range Thursdays" offer non-members rare access to extended-distance shooting.
DRRC is also a fixture in the match scene, hosting NRA-sanctioned "high-power events for" 200 to 1,000 yards, including the Leupold Cup and State Championships.
Built for long-range riflemen, competition shooters, and dedicated members, DRRC provides a serious platform for skill development, complete with terrain and targets that match.
