El Paso Gun & Marksmanship in west Texas is a private desert shooting facility with rifle lanes reaching roughly 450 yards, suited to practical rifle shooters and local precision-focused members.

Built against the base of the Franklin Mountains, ELPGM shoots across open desert terrain with structured rifle lanes and a straightforward member-focused layout. The environment is dry, exposed, and naturally suited to spotting impacts and working through changing desert wind conditions common around the mountain foothills. Rifle capability extends to approximately 450 yards with support for larger centerfire calibers short of .50 BMG, making it suitable for zero confirmation, practical field shooting, and intermediate-distance precision work.
The facility also includes separate pistol and shotgun areas, with regular club events and organized shooting activities running throughout the year. Access roads and surrounding terrain are unpaved and rugged, rather than polished, giving the range a practical working-club feel rather than a commercial indoor-style atmosphere. The setup leans toward shooters who value consistent access, structured firing lanes, and a quieter member-driven environment over high-volume public traffic.
Key Features:
ELPGM is best suited for local precision rifle shooters, hobbyists refining practical rifle skills, and members seeking a quieter long-range practice environment free of crowded public-range traffic.
