Just 15 minutes from Fresno and Clovis, the Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club (FRPC) spans 220 acres and supports a broad range of rifle, pistol, and shotgun disciplines. Founded in 1934, it’s home to multiple competitive shooting clubs, including Fresno High Power, CCPL, and Sierra Pistol Club.
- Public Ranges:
- 22-bench rifle/pistol range with paper (3–100 yards) and steel (15–100 yards)
- Rimfire-specific bays with steel
- Shotgun area with trap thrower and static steel to 50 yards
- Member-Only Ranges:
- 44-bench rifle line with steel at 195, 230, 325, and 400 yards
- Dedicated prone range out to 980 yards for High Power and F-Class shooters
- Agency training area with a basic shoot house
Long-range shooters benefit from a prone-only FHP range with targets to 980 yards, sandbag and bipod use, and monthly matches. The facility strictly enforces no steel core ammo and bans holstered draw-fire or uncontrolled rapid fire.
Training is available through Fresno High Power, which offers mentorship and a required practice day before first matches. The club hosts monthly NRA High Power, USPSA, and Cowboy Action matches.
Membership tiers with discounted military options range from $250 to $300. While public shooters can access limited distances, full long-range access is reserved for members and club participants.
FRPC is ideal for serious marksmen, High-Power competitors, and developing shooters looking to enter formal long-range disciplines.
