Golden Gun Club, Inc.

Golden Gun Club is a private, multi-discipline facility just 8 miles from Denver International Airport. It is located on semi-arid plains near Watkins, Colorado. The club offers a clean, structured environment ideal for precision shooters needing access to mid-distance rifle lanes and consistent firing conditions.

Key features:

• Rifle range extends to 500 meters (547 yards), with prone and bench shooting allowed from a covered line. The “High House” section supports long-range shooters, while the “Low House” serves 100–200m targets. A 25m short rifle bay is also available for .22s and shotgun slugs.
• Pistol shooters have access to a covered 25m bay with movable targets. Still, handguns are restricted to this dedicated area only.
• Shotgun sports trap, skeet, and sporting clays. They are open to the public throughout the week, with dedicated hours and per-round fees.
• Target options include paper, clay, and metal (swingers allowed at 50+ yards only). No PRS props, barricades, or terrain shooting areas are offered.
• Facilities include a clubhouse, picnic area, and limited RV camping for event attendees.

This is a members-only rifle/pistol club with mandatory orientation and NRA membership required. Shotgun ranges are publicly accessible.

Best suited for local marksmen needing consistent 300–500m practice and structured club access, not for PRS training or ELR teams.
