Built by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) and now operated by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation (TWRF), the Montgomery County Shooting Complex is a public-access facility located in Southside, Tennessee, just outside Clarksville. Designed for both new and experienced marksmen, the range features covered rifle lanes stretching from 200 to 400 yards, with both paper and steel targets available.
The rifle line offers 18 firing lanes, raised platforms for prone use, and flexible positions for zeroing or group shooting. A separate steel tactical bay is available for dynamic handgun training. At the same time, the pistol range features 32 covered lanes with targets at distances of 5, 15, and 25 yards. Shotgunners can access American Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand, and a 15-station Sporting Clays course across varied terrain.
Additional amenities include a classroom for instruction, an on-site pro shop with ammo and gear rentals, and space for significant events. Though no memberships are required, rules on prone shooting and holster draw should be confirmed on-site.
