Three-day advanced long-range hunting course for Bergara Beginner graduates, led by the Schearer family instructor team in Montana.

This is a 3-day, all-inclusive advanced long-range hunting course built for shooters who have already completed Bergara's Beginner course and are ready to extend those fundamentals into more technical and field-applied work. The Schearer family instructor team runs the class in a small-format setting, with a maximum of eight students and instruction delivered in two-man teams.
The curriculum moves past entry-level fundamentals into advanced ballistics, stronger shooter-spotter communication, and target engagement problems that demand better wind calls, cleaner data use, and more disciplined shot execution. Students work through cold bore shots, multiple target engagements, advanced mil-dot training, mirage interpretation, and the relationship between holdover, point of aim, and point of impact, with instruction centered on applying ballistic data in changing conditions.
Key training areas include:
This course is best suited for hunters and experienced rifle shooters who already have Bergara's beginner-level foundation and want more depth in long-range field shooting. Completion of the Beginner course is the key prerequisite; rifles, ammunition, lodging, meals, and support equipment are provided.
