Marsha Schearer is a Montana guide and Bergara Academy staff member who supports hunter training and field-to-table instruction.

Marsha Schearer is the logistics coordinator, booking specialist, and head chef for Bergara Academy in Belt, Montana. She has been a licensed Montana guide for more than 25 years and was the first woman added to Bergara’s pro staff. Her background is rooted in hunting, guiding, and helping people get comfortable in the outdoors.
At the academy, her role centers on keeping courses running smoothly while also contributing practical field knowledge for newer hunters. She is especially focused on getting new hunters involved, which makes her useful for students who need approachable, experience-based guidance around hunting and time afield.
Schearer also shares wild game cooking instruction through Shoot Straight’s “Recipes from the Field,” adding a field-to-table perspective that fits hunting education well. Her hunting and fishing experience includes trips in Montana and international destinations such as New Zealand and Africa.
