Advance sniper team capability through precision fieldcraft, overwatch operations, coordinated engagements, and mission-driven SWAT sniper problem solving.

This 4-day Advanced S.W.A.T. Precision Course is built for experienced law enforcement precision shooters looking to sharpen operational sniper capability beyond foundational skills. Led by AZPOST- and NTOA-certified instructors at the Sierra 1 Site in Heber, the curriculum focuses on advanced marksmanship, sniper-observer integration, and practical problem-solving drawn from law enforcement mission profiles.
Training combines classroom instruction, supervised live fire, and scenario-based field evolutions that challenge shooters to apply ballistic data, manage wind and terrain variables, and execute under operational pressure. Strong emphasis is placed on overwatch operations, coordinated engagements, observation and intelligence gathering, and supporting tactical teams during critical incidents. Students also work through urban and confined-environment applications, including long-gun CQB concepts and tactical hide employment.
Key training areas include:
Students should expect heavy live-fire volume, practical field problems, and decision-making drills built around operational relevance rather than static square-range repetition. Rifle and pistol work are both integrated, with 600 rifle rounds and 300 pistol rounds required. Free onsite camping supports team interaction and additional off-range discussion, reinforcing the course’s collaborative sniper-team focus.
This course is best suited for experienced law enforcement snipers or tactical officers already assigned to, or supporting, SWAT precision roles. It is intended as an advanced progression rather than entry-level sniper instruction. Shooters should arrive with a duty-ready rifle in .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor or smaller, no green tip or AP ammunition, and be prepared for a demanding four days of mission-oriented training.

Arizona-based BRVO Tactical blends SOF and SWAT sniper instruction with rugged, high-angle terrain, delivering elite-level training to civilians, law enforcement, and military units.
