This 40-hour program is a foundational police sniper course built for law enforcement personnel serving in or preparing for a tactical team sniper role. It introduces the core duties of the police sniper, with instruction centered on observation, protective overwatch, and precision shot accountability during critical incidents.
Students work through the fundamentals of observation and reporting, ballistics, marksmanship, fieldcraft, movement, hide construction, camouflage, use of force, policy and procedure, and relevant case studies. The course is structured as a starting point for specialized sniper training, giving shooters a working base in both precision rifle employment and the operational context surrounding police sniper use.
