Two to three hour classroom introduction to precision rifle fundamentals for new shooters, delivered by OTM Precision under Adam Pittman.

This two to three hour classroom course is built for shooters who are new to precision rifle and need a grounded start before live-fire training. OTM Precision presents the baseline concepts behind precision marksmanship, with instruction centered on the core language, equipment choices, and setup decisions that drive later performance.
Students work through the practical differences between MOA and MIL/MRAD systems, along with how rifle, optic, ammunition, and support gear choices fit together as a usable precision rifle setup. Because the format is traditionally non-shooting, the emphasis is on understanding concepts, terminology, and equipment function in a structured classroom setting rather than confirming them on the range.
Key training areas include:
This course is best suited for new precision rifle shooters, hunters, and carbine shooters crossing into bolt-gun or scoped rifle work. Students should plan to bring note-taking materials and basic weather-appropriate personal items for the day.
