The _Law Enforcement Sniper Advanced Team Operations_ course is a 3-day intensive designed to elevate sniper/spotter team performance through dynamic, real-world exercises and critical decision-making under pressure. Held at Ben Franklin Range in Templeton, PA, this course brings modern sniper tactics to the forefront—challenging teams to think, move, and operate as a unit.
Day one begins with rifle zeroing, chronographing, and data verification to ensure each shooter is dialed in. From there, instruction shifts into non-traditional sniper techniques often neglected in standard department training, including alternate shooting positions, tripod work, and rapid deployment drills tailored for patrol or tactical operations.
The remainder of the course is scenario-driven, placing sniper and spotter teams into evolving field problems that test communication, observation, and rapid engagement. Teams will face positional shooting challenges, target identification under time stress, and problem-solving drills that simulate real-world law enforcement missions. Each scenario is designed to sharpen both technical precision and team dynamics.
