Two-day intermediate hunting rifle course for Level 1 graduates, focused on field shooting and practical hunting scenarios with small-group instruction.

This 2-day course is built for shooters who have already completed the school's Level 1 class and want to pressure-test those fundamentals in a hunting-focused format. Training starts with a refresher on the known-distance range to review MOA use, ballistic app inputs, basic shooting principles, zero verification, and dope confirmation on the rifle you plan to hunt with or a provided student gun.
From there, most of the class shifts into the field, where students work in two-person shooter-spotter teams and rotate through ranch stages in small groups with a 1:4 instructor-to-student ratio. Instruction centers on practical position building, target engagement on animal silhouette steel, and adapting support methods and body position to what the shooter can realistically use on a hunt, including timed conditions and stage-based problem solving.
Key training areas include:
This course fits hunters and experienced rifle shooters looking to move beyond square-range fundamentals into realistic field application. Students should have completed Level 1 and are encouraged to bring the rifle and hunting gear they intend to use, with the note that primary rifles must be suppressed or able to accept a provided suppressor.
