The Precision Rifle Course from CR2 Shooting Solutions is a two-day, hands-on training program designed to develop reliable long-range shooting skills through structured instruction and live-fire application. Hosted at Steel City Precision near Vance, Alabama, the course combines classroom learning with extensive range time to help shooters refine their equipment setup, build dependable ballistic data, and improve shot execution under real-world conditions.
Training begins with a skills and equipment assessment so instructors can tailor instruction to each shooter’s goals and rifle system. Students will work through core precision-rifle fundamentals, including optic setup, establishing a confirmed zero, building accurate DOPE, and understanding the ballistic factors that influence long-range engagements. As the course progresses, shooters apply these concepts during live-fire drills across varying terrain and target distances.
