Precision Rifle Techniques II

This is a two-day hands-on advanced precision rifle course built for shooters who already have a solid foundation and current rifle data to at least 500 yards. It builds directly on Precision Rifle I material and focuses on the data gathering, positional work, and environmental interpretation needed to improve first-round hit probability at 800+ yards.

Instruction reviews core marksmanship fundamentals only as needed, then moves into confirming zero, building and validating DOPE, and applying reticle-based ranging and holds at longer distance. Shooters work through advanced and unorthodox positions, learn to read mirage and other environmental inputs for wind and condition changes, and use bullet trace to refine corrections for follow-up impacts.

Key training areas include:

• Reviewing eye relief, shooting positions, breathing, trigger control, and follow through
• Reviewing bullet trajectory versus line of sight and applying it to proper target ranging
• Using Mils versus MOA and ranging targets effectively with the scope reticle
• Confirming rifle zero and establishing verified DOPE out to 800+ yards
• Building stability in advanced and unorthodox positions, reading mirage and environmental effects, and using trace and holds for faster corrections and engagements

This course is best suited for experienced long-range shooters, hunters, and serious enthusiasts who already understand the basics. Students need a precision or hunting-style rifle with a suitable long-range optic, roughly 300 rounds, and current, reliable rifle data before enrolling.
