This is a follow-on precision rifle class built for shooters who have already completed foundational instruction and are ready to move into team-based rifle work. Run by OTM Precision, PR 2 focuses on using the tools mounted on the rifle more effectively, with instruction centered on ranging, communication, and working with a spotter or partner.
Students learn how to use a ranging reticle, range targets, and build cleaner spotter-shooter dialogue so corrections and target information are passed efficiently. The class also covers how to apply the optic's reticle and external turrets in a practical way, with shooting distances dependent on the range and starting at 500 yards, with some classes extending farther.
