Two-day fundamental precision rifle course covering marksmanship, rifle setup, and ballistic basics for developing shooters under cadre instruction.

This 2-day, 16-hour fundamental skills course is built for shooters who want a structured introduction to precision rifle marksmanship, rifle manipulation, and practical employment. The curriculum is taught in a progressive format, with each block building on the last so students can move from rifle setup and zeroing into firing solutions, data collection, and faster target engagements.
Instruction centers on repeated live-fire reps supported by coaching from the cadre. Students work through equipment selection, scope and reticle concepts, MIL versus MOA, fundamentals of marksmanship, ballistic solver use, wind and external ballistics basics, and data management. Training uses both paper and steel target arrays, with drills designed to reinforce zero confirmation, shooter-developed data, and application of corrections from 100 to 600 yards.
Key training areas include:
This course fits newer precision rifle shooters, hunters, competitors, and MIL or LE personnel seeking a solid baseline. Students should already be safe and familiar with their rifle and scope, and must bring a precision scoped rifle capable of 1 MOA or better, required support gear, and 300 rounds of match ammunition.

Ridgeline Defense is a New Hampshire-based training company with an additional Florida facility, delivering tactical and precision rifle instruction through open-enrollment courses and MIL/LE programs.
