The Precision Gas Gun Class is designed for intermediate to advanced shooters looking to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency with a scoped semi-auto rifle. Unlike traditional bolt-gun courses, this 1-day program focuses on match-level gas gun performance, ideal for competitors and modern rifle marksmen aiming to gain an edge in dynamic stages.

What you’ll learn:

  • Rapid target acquisition and position transitions
  • Recoil control and shot follow-through from barricades and field positions
  • Wind bracketing techniques and correction strategies after a miss
  • Stage planning: dial vs. hold, gear setup, indexing, and time management
  • Gear selection insights: optics, cartridges, bipods, bags, tripods, and data cards

How it’s delivered:

  • 8-hour intensive session combining live-fire training and positional movement drills
  • Includes a mini-match to test your skills under pressure against classmates
  • Emphasis on building stability quickly and minimizing wasted motion

Where and what you’ll shoot:
Held in Santaquin, Utah, this range-based class engages targets at a distance using practical barricades and match-style setups. Shooters will run drills under time pressure to simulate competition stress.

Gear & prep:

Required:

  • Scoped semi-auto rifle (2 MOA or better)
  • 200 rounds of match-grade ammo (no steel core)
  • 3–5 mags, bipod, rear bag, ballistic calculator/Kestrel
  • Eye/ear protection, food, and water

Recommended:

  • Tripod, spotting gear, rangefinder
  • Dope cards/arm board, notebook
  • Chronograph and basic cleaning/repair tools

Built for shooters ready to move faster and shoot smarter in gas gun matches.
