This 2-day _Precision Scoped Rifle Level_ course runs various course dates over a given year at either the PALA Range or a private property in Valley Center, CA.
The class focuses on developing real-world marksmanship skills using data-driven techniques.
Students will cover:
- Gun setup, scope mounting, and prone shooting fundamentals
- Zeroing, chronographing, and data card creation
- Internal and external ballistics (Part 1), density altitude, and wind holds
- Spotting, team communication, and talk-ons
- Supported positions and cleaning/maintenance levels
Ballistic apps and Kestrels are provided for course use. Live-fire exercises take place in natural terrain with distances up to 1,200+ yards. Students must bring a scoped rifle, bipod, and 200 rounds.
Led by Brian Deshi, a 23-year Navy SEAL veteran, and Master Training Specialist, this course blends combat-proven instruction with performance coaching that breaks flat-range limits.
