It operates from a ranch south of Clarendon in the Texas panhandle and a second facility in southeast Utah. The program serves active military personnel through dedicated military courses and also runs civilian open-enrollment classes for shooters building long-range capability.
The school’s instruction centers on wind, ballistics, and shot decision-making, with an emphasis on knowing which variables matter most for a given shot. Civilian training runs from LR1 for newer shooters through LR2 and an advanced class covering reticle use, positional shooting, wind reading, spotting scope work, ballistic computers, custom formulas, speed shooting, and high-angle concepts. Military offerings include Basic Sniper, Advanced Sniper, Designated Marksmen, High Angle, Instructor Classes, and ballistic software training. Todd Hodnett brings 20 years of experience training soldiers in precision shooting, and Accuracy 1st states it has trained Marine Corps and SOF snipers. The Texas facility includes six ranges with a 1000 meter 360-degree range, and the Utah site supports true high-angle shooting.
