Bobby Whittington

Bobby Whittington is the owner and Range Master of Badlands Tactical, a respected training facility in Grandfield, Oklahoma, that has been instructing military, law enforcement, and civilian shooters since 1999. With over four decades of experience in law enforcement and the military, Bobby brings deep operational knowledge, a passion for marksmanship, and a legacy of leadership to every course he teaches.

He served over 38 years in law enforcement, retiring from the Lawton Police Department in 2003 as a Master Officer after working in various divisions, including patrol, investigations, and training. He later served as the elected Sheriff of Tillman County from 2005 to 2020, earning _Sheriff of the Year_ honors in 2015 from the Oklahoma Sheriff’s Association.

A US Army National Guard veteran and Persian Gulf War combat veteran, Bobby retired with the rank of Sergeant First Class, earning multiple commendations, including the Bronze Star and the Meritorious Service Medal.
