Urban Sniper

Badlands Tactical’s 5-day _Urban Sniper_ course is designed for experienced precision shooters seeking to refine their skills in complex, real-world environments. This isn’t a fundamentals class; students must arrive with a solid understanding of marksmanship and gear operation.

The course focuses on the demands of urban engagements, including:

• Positional and improvised positional shooting
• Observation and intelligence gathering through barriers (e.g., glass)
• Moving target and low-light engagements
• Stress shooting scenarios and reporting drills
• Urban hide construction and concealment techniques

Students will learn how to operate effectively in built-up environments, from firing through glass to building observation and firing positions that blend into urban terrain. Training includes extensive use of unconventional positions and tripod platforms for scoped rifles.

Engagements range from traditional distances to complex scenarios involving movement and poor visibility. The objective is to develop adaptable urban shooters who can gather intel, stay concealed, and make accurate shots under pressure.

Gear Requirements:

• Precision rifle with bipod, sling, and Mil/MOA reticle
• 400 rounds of match-grade ammo
• Spotting scope, binoculars, camo face paint
• Eye/ear pro, red lens flashlight (optional)

Tuition includes free lodging at The Village — a former assisted living facility converted into student housing with two-person rooms, showers, and a full kitchen.
