Brian Anderson is a retired Marine and veteran SWAT Sniper Team Leader with decades of experience in law enforcement. He now trains police snipers through Snipercraft Mid-Atlantic and national-level sniper programs.
Brian Anderson is a former U.S. Marine and a recently retired law enforcement officer with a career spanning from 1996 to the present, including advisory and training roles. His operational background includes patrol, investigations, and leadership roles, culminating in his service as a Major Crime Investigations Sergeant and SWAT Sniper Team Leader.
Since joining SWAT in 2000, Brian has led sniper training initiatives. He continues to instruct active officers through his former department and Snipercraft Mid-Atlantic. His extensive training includes Snipercraft, the FBI Police Sniper Course, the Department of Energy Sniper Program, and numerous certifications as a SWAT and firearms instructor. He also contributes annually to Snipercraft’s Sniperweek.
Brian is certified through the NRA and the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in multiple firearms disciplines. He is known for creatively structuring real-world, scenario-based training for sniper and tactical units.
