KP Robinson is a retired law enforcement sniper instructor with SWAT leadership experience teaching LE precision rifle and sniper skills.

KP Robinson is a retired law enforcement instructor with 26 years in policing, including 19 years on SWAT, 16 years as a sniper, and 13 years as a sniper team leader. He served with Metro Transit Police in Washington, D.C. during the DC Sniper case and later with the Des Moines Police Department, where his roles included firearms instructor, armorer, SWAT team leader, and sniper instructor at the regional police academy. He has also worked dignitary protection, overwatch, barricades, high-risk warrants, and active shooter incidents.
Robinson is worth training with because his instruction is built around actual LE sniper problems, not just square-range marksmanship. As Senior Sniper Instructor with Grey Group from 2018, he oversaw precision rifle curriculum, courses of fire, and equipment recommendations. His classes have covered case law, hide construction, recon, positional shooting, moving targets, vehicle hides, night shooting, and ballistic testing through glass. He also pushes PRS-style stages and shooting beyond prone to build time management, positional stability, and a better understanding of ballistics and gear limits.
