Montrose Rod & Gun Club (MRGC), founded in 1953, offers a dual-range facility just east of Montrose, Colorado. The outdoor complex sits in open, high-desert terrain and provides structured intermediate and long-range rifle training opportunities.
Key features:
The indoor facility is limited to rimfire and low-velocity handgun calibers. Membership is currently capped, but PRS-style matches remain open to non-members.
This range best suits regional competitors, MIL/LE professionals, and civilian marksmen looking to work steel out past 500 in natural conditions.
