ADVANCED SWAT SNIPER

Shadow Country Sniper School’s 50 Hour Advanced Course is designed for active law enforcement and military snipers who have completed a formal basic course and are ready to push performance to a higher operational level. The focus is on executing fundamentals faster, cleaner, and under pressure, while integrating advanced fieldcraft and engagement problems that reflect real-world sniper tasks. Expect a physically and mentally demanding week with heavy emphasis on tripod shooting, alternative positions, and decision-making under stress, with live fire extending to 1,000 yards and a high round count of 800 to 1,000 rounds.

• Observation and surveillance drills with target acquisition
• Rapid deployment and engagement under time pressure
• Shooter/spotter coordination and communication
• Wind calling and corrections at a distance.
• Stress shots, including gas mask scenarios
• Heavy tripod use and alternative shooting positions
• Hasty and unsupported positional shooting
• Moving target engagements at a distance
• Elevated angle shooting and terrain-based problems
• Ballistics, MIL, and MOA refresher
• Final qualification shoot and written assessment
