BASIC SWAT SNIPER

This 50-hour Basic SWAT Sniper Course is designed for law enforcement and military personnel preparing for operational sniper roles or for experienced shooters seeking a structured reset before advancing further. The curriculum establishes a solid foundation, then pushes beyond entry-level expectations with practical, mission-driven training.

Students develop core sniper competencies, including rifle setup, zero confirmation, scope theory, and a clear understanding of MIL and MOA systems. Strong emphasis is placed on shooter and spotter communication, wind calling, and applying ballistic data through modern solver tools.

Training is delivered through hands-on instruction, scenario-based drills, and team-focused exercises. Expect a heavy focus on tripod shooting and positional work, with engagements extending out to 1,000 yards on realistic targets.

Key training areas include:

• Shooter and spotter coordination with real-time corrections
• Tripod and alternate position shooting under time pressure
• Hide construction and shooting from vehicles and confined spaces.
• Elevated angle engagements and moving target tracking
• Low-light operations, gas mask shooting, and stress-based drills
• Observation skills, camouflage techniques, and target detection

Students will also complete a formal qualification shoot and a written assessment to validate capability.
