This 5-day LE Sniper Course is a complete operational program designed for law enforcement snipers responsible for precision engagements in high-risk environments. The curriculum covers the full scope of the sniper role, from foundational marksmanship and equipment setup through to advanced mission planning and deployment within SWAT operations.
Students will develop a deep understanding of rifle and optic configuration, zeroing, and ballistic data management. Training progresses into applying that data across known and unknown distances, with a strong focus on first-round impact, shot accountability, and effective correction under pressure. Tools such as laser rangefinders, chronographs, and ballistic solvers are integrated throughout to reinforce consistent, repeatable performance.
Instruction is delivered through a combination of classroom sessions and intensive live-fire exercises. Shooters will engage from prone positions, tripods, barricades, and complex urban structures, including windows, elevated positions, and confined spaces. The course also introduces rural and urban movement, hide construction, and observation techniques, along with low-light and night operations using issued night vision and thermal systems.
