Advanced three-day mountain application course from Long Range University for shooters who have completed L1 and L2.

This is a three-day field application course built for advanced shooters who have already completed Long Range University L1 and L2. The format moves from confirming rifle and data at the range on day one into mountain-specific shooting problems on days two and three, with a focus on applying prior ballistic and wind knowledge in realistic terrain.
Instruction covers how to manage wind in a complex mountain environment, where wind velocity profile and vertical wind materially affect hit probability, along with how steep shot angles change bullet trajectory and position building. Students validate zero, trajectory, and laser rangefinder performance before working through uphill, downhill, and scenario-based engagements, plus tripod fundamentals and failed-technology methods for times when electronics or data support are limited.
Key training areas include:
This course is best suited for experienced shooters, hunters, and MIL/LE personnel who already have the L1 and L2 foundation in ballistics and wind. Students need a long-range rifle setup with ammunition and field gear suitable for short mountain hikes, including sturdy footwear, a pack, and weather-appropriate clothing.
