Push past your limits with wind calls, UKD, and 1,000-yard drills in this fast-paced intermediate precision rifle course.

Ghost Firearms Training’s _Long Range Precision 1.5_ is a two-day, intermediate-level course designed for shooters who are ready to advance from basic precision work to advanced concepts and achieve consistent 1,000-yard impacts. Held at their Lewistown, PA range, the course includes two nights of bunkhouse lodging and is packed with live-fire training and hands-on coaching.
Designed for shooters already confident at 100 yards, the course covers zero confirmation, reticle-based ranging, ballistic data collection, and engagement of unknown distance (UKD) targets. Students will engage steel targets at progressive distances out to 1,000 yards, with a focus on refining wind calls and elevation holds. A new addition includes life-size animal targets, ideal for long-range hunters.
This is a significant step up from LRP 1.0, featuring a faster pace and greater technical depth. All shooting is conducted from the prone position on a concrete pad. The course ends with a final challenge to crown the class “Top Shot.”
Rifles must be capable of 1 MOA accuracy and fully configured for precision work—no hunting setups are allowed. A quality scope with external turrets and numbered subtensions is mandatory, along with a canted bipod, rear bags, and 180 rounds or more of match-grade ammunition. No .50 cal, AR-15 calibers, or steel-core rounds.
Includes lunches both days, free camping/RV access, and a small-group setting for personalized instruction.
Ideal for confident shooters stepping into real-world wind calls and distance problems. Book early, slots fill fast.
