Ghost Firearms Training (GFT) is a Pennsylvania-based firearms school operating out of Templeton and Lewistown since 2014. With a team of seasoned instructors, including Marine Scout Snipers, FBI SWAT-trained shooters, and PRS/NRL competitors, GFT delivers high-impact, no-BS training for civilian, military, and law enforcement clients.
Courses are structured and demanding, with a strong emphasis on equipment accountability, precision fundamentals, and mission-realistic scenarios.
Their long-range programs include:
- LRP 1.0 – Intro-level precision rifle covering UKD ranging, atmospherics, and reticle use.
- LRP 1.5 – Intermediate/advanced course with prone shooting out to 1000 yards, wind calls, and data logging.
- LRP Spotter/Shooter – Focused on team dynamics and target acquisition from both ends of the optic.
- Long Range Hunter / LRP 2.0 – Designed for real-world field application.
Their carbine offerings range from the Accelerated Basic Carbine (ABC) to the Urban Combat Carbine (UCC) and night-fire scenarios. Meanwhile, CQB and TacMed students train in a 6,000 sq. ft., two-story shoot house, utilizing live fire and force-on-force drills.
Pricing sits at $850 per course, which includes 2-day instruction, bunkhouse lodging, and meals at the Lewistown facility. Expect early start times, physical movement, and clear expectations on weapon capability—bolt or semi-auto platforms must hold 1 MOA or better.
