Build precision rifle fundamentals through field-based instruction, wind calls, positional shooting, and engagements stretching beyond 1,000 meters.

This 2-day Long Range Precision Course is built for shooters developing a serious foundation in precision rifle application, drawing from techniques used in modern law enforcement and special operations sniper programs. Hosted at the Sierra 1 Site near Heber, the course moves beyond square-range fundamentals and places students on varied terrain where ballistic problem-solving, environmental judgment, and shooter discipline become central to every shot.
Students begin refining rifle setup, zero confirmation, combat bore sighting, and ballistic inputs on a 150-plus-meter flat range before progressing to multiple field shooting lanes across the 100-acre training area. Instruction is hands-on and coach-driven, with AZPOST and NTOA-certified SWAT sniper instructors guiding shooters through positional problems, terrain-based engagements, and real-world decision-making under field conditions.
Key training areas include:
• Rifle and optic setup with long gun familiarity and system validation
• Basic ballistics, chronograph use, and Kestrel integration for firing solutions
• Building DOPE specific to your rifle and ammunition
• Wind and elevation calling with shooter-spotter communication• Positional shooting from varied terrain and improvised support
• High-angle engagements and technical shooting problems
• Long-range target engagements extending beyond 1,000 meters
• Practical precision lanes exposing shooters to changing terrain, distances, and shot dilemmas
This course is well-suited for civilian precision shooters, hunters looking to extend their effective range, and MIL/LE personnel seeking a practical precision refresher grounded in field application. Students should arrive with a reliable rifle system and baseline familiarity with safe rifle handling, prepared to work with ballistic tools and carry equipment across rugged training terrain.

Arizona-based BRVO Tactical blends SOF and SWAT sniper instruction with rugged, high-angle terrain, delivering elite-level training to civilians, law enforcement, and military units.
