Long Range (Scoped) Rifle Level 1 and Level 2

Sheepdog Warrior's Long Range Rifle Level 1 and 2 classes deliver a structured, hands-on introduction to scoped rifle shooting. These six-hour courses cater to both beginners and intermediate shooters, focusing on core precision rifle techniques for bolt-action or semi-automatic platforms.

Completion of Level 1 is required before advancing to Level 2.

Throughout the course, you'll cover:

• Proper rifle and optic setup
• Parallax elimination and scope manipulation
• Understanding MIL & MOA systems
• Marksmanship fundamentals and zeroing techniques
• Drills from 100 to 400 yards
• Introduction to alternate shooting positions

Training is held on-site at Sheepdog Warrior's premier Catskill, NY facility, renowned for its steel targets that stretch out to 1,200 yards, match-grade layouts, and a tactical-friendly range environment.

Expect live-fire drills in prone and supported positions. Class size is capped at 14 shooters to ensure each student receives individual attention. Students must bring a rifle capable of 1" groups at 100 yards, ideally in .308 or similar mid-range calibers. Match-grade factory ammo (100 rounds minimum) is required. Optics with 10x magnification or greater are highly recommended.

Required Gear Includes:

• Scoped rifle with a bipod or a shooting platform
• Eye and ear protection
• Scope tools, rear bag/sand sock, notepad
• Appropriate field clothing
