Precision Rifle One

This one-day precision rifle class is a fundamentals-focused format built for shooters who want to get more out of their rifle and tighten up their work behind the gun. OTM Precision structures the course around marksmanship rather than long-range shooting, using a series of exercises and drills to show how shooter input drives bullet impact at the target.

Instruction centers on shooting the rifle well, understanding cause and effect in position, and correcting the habits that waste ammunition. Students work through practical drills that highlight how body position, support use, and rifle management affect consistency, with shooting typically kept inside 200 to 300 yards depending on the range used.

Key training areas include:

• Marksmanship-focused rifle shooting rather than long-range stage work
• Drills that show how shooter actions behind the rifle affect bullet impact
• Building consistency through repeated exercises on position and rifle control
• Getting the most practical performance out of the rifle and optic setup you already have
• Using bipod and rear support correctly to improve stability and shot execution

This course fits newer precision rifle shooters and experienced shooters who have skipped formal fundamentals work and need to clean up their baseline. Students need a rifle capable of 2 MOA or better, an optic with at least 3x if fixed power, 100 rounds of match ammunition, front and rear support, eye and ear protection, and basic range gear.
