Learn to safely build precision rifle ammunition and validate your loads with live-fire testing on a controlled 100-yard range.

Intro to Reloading at Vortex Edge is a two-day, hands-on course designed to teach shooters how to produce consistent, precision-grade rifle ammunition for long-range performance. The focus is on low-volume, high-quality handloads, giving shooters full control over the variables that affect accuracy rather than relying solely on factory ammunition.
The course walks through the complete metallic cartridge reloading process, starting with safety and progressing into component selection, case preparation, press setup, and load development. Students learn how each element - cases, primers, powder, and bullets - affects consistency and performance, along with how to interpret load data and measure powder charges accurately for precision shooting.
Training is delivered through a combination of classroom instruction and practical application. Students will assemble their own test loads under instructor guidance, then move directly to the 100-yard indoor range to shoot and evaluate results. This immediate feedback loop allows shooters to connect theory with real-world performance and understand how small changes impact shot groups.
Key features include:
No prior reloading experience or equipment is required, making this a strong entry point for shooters looking to take control of their ammunition and push for tighter consistency at distance.
