Corey Eliasson is a former USMC Scout Sniper and Vortex Edge instructor who specializes in long-range precision rifle, bringing real-world combat, contractor, and competition experience into structured training programs.


Corey Eliasson is a former U.S. Marine Corps Scout Sniper with 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines, where he conducted sniper operations in Iraq supporting infantry movements, overwatch, and high-value target engagements. Following his military service, he worked as a Designated Defensive Marksman and security contractor, supporting U.S. Embassy operations in Kabul and conducting counter-sniper, surveillance, and protective missions across Iraq and Afghanistan.
Today, Corey serves as a firearms instructor at Vortex Edge and is a founding partner of the Marksmanship Training Center (MTC) in Michigan, a dedicated long-range training facility. His instruction spans precision rifle, carbine, pistol, and night vision applications, with a primary focus on long-range shooting systems, equipment efficiency, and practical application.
