Advance your long-range skillset with wind reading, ballistic refinement, and team-based engagements out to 1,000 yards.

Long-Range 2 expands on Long-Range 1, examining the variables that separate consistent hits from misses at distance. This course focuses on refining accuracy through a stronger understanding of internal and external ballistics, environmental effects, and more advanced use of the rifle system in real shooting scenarios.
Instruction combines guided learning with practical application, reinforcing marksmanship fundamentals while introducing critical skills like wind reading, range estimation, and reticle-based engagements. Shooters will begin working more deliberately with environmental data, learning how to interpret conditions and apply corrections that hold up across varying distances. The course also introduces considerations for cold-bore shots and the importance of rifle maintenance for consistency.
Training is on an outdoor Wisconsin range from 100 to 1,000 yards, mostly prone. You work in shooter/spotter pairs, building communication and observation skills required for competition and professional use.
Key features include:
Students must have completed Long-Range 1 and arrive with a capable rifle system (1 MOA or better), a magnified optic with an exposed turret, a bipod, match-grade ammunition, and proper range attire.
This course helps shooters move past fundamentals and build real consistency in changing conditions. It prepares you for Long-Range 3, where you’ll face greater complexity and pressure.
