Paul Smith is a Gulf War veteran and a top graduate of the US Army Sniper School. He founded Frontline Defense Firearms Training Center and Range, a veteran-owned facility. This center is dedicated to high-quality firearms education and excellent customer service.
Paul got his start in the military with the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, where he quickly sharpened both his leadership and tactical skills. He deployed to the Middle East with the 24th Infantry Division during Operation Desert Shield/Storm and later served with the 509th Pathfinders.
Paul took command of the SRT's Sniper Unit at Fort Rucker, where he gained hands-on experience in advanced marksmanship and close-quarters operations. He concluded his military service as an undercover narcotics investigator with the US Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), operating in high-risk, covert environments.
At Frontline Defense, Paul teaches courses that range from introductory long-range rifle training to armed security and concealed carry. His Intro to Long Range Rifle class, co-taught with PRS competitor Dale Campo, is designed to help shooters confidently reach out to 1,000 yards for hunting, competition, or personal development.
