This two-day hands-on course is built for responsible citizens, hunters, sport shooters, and firearms enthusiasts who want a foundation in precision rifle work. It focuses on the fundamentals needed to build consistent first-round hit capability from 100 to 500 yards, and it serves as the prerequisite for Precision Rifle II and Scout Recon.
Instruction covers rifle setup, optic use, ammunition and basic ballistics, then moves into practical marksmanship skills such as eye relief, stable shooting positions, breathing, trigger control, and follow-through. Key training areas include:

Students need a precision or hunting-style rifle, an adjustable scope with a suitable reticle, support gear such as a bipod or bags, and 300 rounds.
