This two-day course is designed to push past foundational skills and develop the precision shooter’s ability to engage targets efficiently under real-world field conditions. Precision Rifle Training 2 is ideal for graduates of a basic or intermediate rifle course who are ready to challenge their shot placement, timing, and positional versatility.

What you’ll learn:
This course deepens your understanding of environmental effects and equipment application, with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy, and consistency:

  • Advanced wind reading and correction techniques
  • Zero confirmation and adjustments for elevation, temperature, and location
  • Rapid target acquisition using ballistic calculators and wind meters
  • Shooting from tripods and improvised positions
  • Timed man-on-man drills for pressure and competition
  • Engaging multiple targets at varying distances
  • Hold-over techniques for rapid fire inside zero distance

How it’s delivered:
Expect a fast-paced, performance-driven environment focused on building repeatable systems under pressure. Coaching is direct, practical, and tailored to shooters who are serious about transitioning into advanced self-guided practice or competition-level shooting.

Where and what you’ll shoot:
You’ll shoot steel and paper at varied distances, including inside zero range, mid-range, and beyond. Targets may be engaged from prone, supported, tripod, and improvised positions across various terrain types.

  • Precision rifle (.223–.338) with sling and bipod
  • 200 rounds of match-grade ammo
  • Scope with precise tracking and elevation adjustment
  • Ballistic calculator and wind meter (required)
  • Shooting mat, rear bag, and cleaning kit
  • Backpack for improvised support
  • Weather-appropriate gear, hydration, and food
  • Notebook or data book for recording DOPE
