This five-day (50-hour) course is designed for seasoned police snipers who are ready to transition into the instructor role and take responsibility for shaping the next generation of law enforcement marksmen. Designed with maximum student involvement, this course equips you with the tools, confidence, and structure needed to build and run a department-level Basic Sniper School.

You’ll learn how to safely and effectively instruct others in sniper rifle fundamentals, evaluate performance, and run live-fire drills. Teach-backs, coaching modules, and curriculum development are at the heart of this program. Each participant will create and leave with two complete instructional media packages—ready-to-go assets for launching a sniper training program back home.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Instructional techniques for teaching rifle mechanics, fundamentals, and ballistics
  • How to create and evaluate sniper qualification drills and range safety protocols
  • Effective methods for student coaching, testing, and progression
  • Curriculum development for LE sniper programs
  • Classroom and live-fire teach-backs with peer review

Required Gear:

  • Precision rifle (.223, .308, or 6.5 caliber capable of 1 MOA or better)
  • Riflescope with external turrets & reticle (MOA or MIL)
  • 150 rounds of duty-grade open-tip ammo
  • Bipod, data books, calculator, eye/ear pro
  • Laptop for presentation delivery
  • Proper range attire, sunscreen, water, and rain gear

Pre-requisite:
Law enforcement and military personnel only.
