Randy DeHay is a former U.S. Army Special Forces Operator with the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where he served as a sniper and weapons sergeant (18B) on ODA 782. His military career began with the 82nd Airborne Division, deploying to Afghanistan as a scout sniper. Over nine years, he completed multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, building deep operational experience in unconventional warfare and long-range interdiction.
Randy's formal training includes the U.S. Army Sniper School, Special Operations Target Interdiction Course, SF Advanced Reconnaissance Target Analysis and Exploitation Techniques (ARSOF), Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat, and U.S. Army Ranger School. His instructional background spans the full spectrum, from training illiterate Indigenous forces overseas to developing elite-level curricula for U.S. military personnel, SWAT teams, and civilian shooters.
As one of the original instructors with Tacflow Academy, Randy continues to deliver periodic training in his home state of Texas. He is known for his no-nonsense instruction and ability to translate high-level sniper and CQB tactics into understandable, practical training modules.
