Modern Day Sniper (MDS) is a national precision rifle education leader founded by former U.S. Marine Scout Sniper Caylen Wojcik. With a team of seasoned instructors from military, law enforcement, and competition backgrounds, MDS provides mission-driven marksmanship training across the U.S. for professionals, hunters, and competitors alike.
MDS delivers online masterclasses and immersive in-person training events structured around modern marksmanship mechanics, decision-making under stress, and environmental problem-solving. Training occurs at elite venues like Pigg River Precision (VA), Nail Spring Ranch (OR), and various sheriff’s academies, including San Bernardino (CA) and Ada County (ID).
Core Training Programs Include:
- Intro to Long Range – Foundational course for gear setup, marksmanship fundamentals, wind reading, and ballistic software.
- Skills Progression – Advanced diagnostics, positional shooting, and wind correction drills.
- LE Sniper Skills Clinics – Credentialed-only training in tripod techniques, urban/rural ops, and external ballistics.
- Precision Rifle Hunting – Ethics, decision-making, and responsible engagement for hunters.
