An active-duty U.S. Army Special Forces Sniper and Bronze Star recipient, BRVO Tactical’s founder leads high-altitude training at Sierra 1 with battlefield-proven tactics for MIL, LEO, and civilian shooters.
The founder of BRVO Tactical is an active-duty U.S. Army Special Forces Sniper with over a decade of operational experience. Since enlisting in 2011, he has served in elite roles across multiple combat deployments, earning a Bronze Star for actions in theater. Currently, he is the senior 18B Weapons Sergeant on his Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA), where he supervises all weapons systems, sniper employment, live-fire ranges, team tactics, and heavy weapon integration, from mortars to anti-tank systems.
In addition to his sniper role, he is a HALO-qualified Military free-fall parachutist, Combat Diver Supervisor, and the team’s UAS drone operator, piloting both fixed-wing and quadcopter platforms for surveillance and support in both training and combat.
His leadership and instruction are grounded in modern battlefield TTPs, with an emphasis on realism, stress inoculation, and mission-oriented training. Every course he teaches is built from hard-won experience and delivered with the expectation that students, whether military, law enforcement, or civilian, rise to the standard.
Training is conducted at Sierra 1 Site in Heber, Arizona, a 100-acre, high-altitude facility designed by Special Forces and SWAT snipers. The environment includes sniper towers, trench systems, shoot houses, vehicle mobility lanes, and high-angle shooting lanes exceeding 800 meters.
