Jonathan Stineford

Jonathan Stineford is co-owner and instructor at Headspace Rifle Training Co. (HRTC), bringing over two decades of law enforcement experience to the training field. Recently retired as a Sergeant, Jonathan served 23 years in Patrol, Narcotics, and Detectives—holding leadership positions in each division and proving his capability in diverse, high-stakes environments.

For 13 years, Jonathan served on his agency's SWAT team, first as a sniper and later as a sniper team leader, participating in numerous operations and high-threat missions. He was also selected to support the United States Secret Service during a presidential protection detail for President Donald J. Trump, serving in a sniper role during the operation.

Jonathan's professional development encompasses a wide range of advanced sniper-related courses, including Basic and Advanced Sniper, Sniper Instructor, Mountain Operations, and Long-Range Reconnaissance. He holds multiple instructor certifications and is known for his calm leadership and mentorship, both on the range and in the field.

A passionate hunter and competitive shooter, Jonathan actively engages in shooting sports, continually honing his craft. In 2021, he earned first place in an Extreme Long-Range match by placing 4 out of 5 hits on a target beyond 2,000 yards, demonstrating both technical precision and mental discipline.
