Retired Army Special Forces Master Sergeant with 25 years of military experience teaching rifle and pistol fundamentals.

Pete Jones is a retired Army Master Sergeant with more than 25 years of military service, including 20 years in Army Special Forces. His Special Operations background covered training, mission execution, and technical oversight at the detachment, company, and combined joint task force level. His military schooling includes Ranger School, Military Free Fall Jumpmaster, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant training, SFARTAETC, and Special Forces Sniper.
His teaching background is especially relevant for shooters because his final Special Forces assignment was as the primary flat range pistol and rifle instructor at his unit. That points to a strong grounding in practical gun handling, marksmanship, and range-based instruction built around real operational standards. He also earned Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart for combat actions, adding field experience behind the instruction. After retirement, he became owner of Alan's Arsenal LLC, continuing his work in the firearms space.

Two-day introductory precision rifle course led by SOF instructors for shooters building practical long-range marksmanship fundamentals.

Two-day intermediate precision rifle course on 5.56 gas-gun marksmanship and SPR concepts led by MSG (ret) Steve Holland.

Tactical Rifleman, led by retired Army Special Forces veteran Karl Erickson, operates from host ranges around the U.S. and teaches defensive firearms, tactical riflecraft, and precision rifle training.
