Fouled Bore Precision is a grassroots long-range facility located outside Arcadia, Oklahoma. It was built from the ground up by a dedicated shooter, JW, using repurposed materials and pure grit. This is not a luxury range. It's a working-class setup that prioritizes access and function for serious shooters.
- Long-Range Setup: Steel targets begin at 300 yards and extend in 50-yard increments to at least 900 yards, with some reports noting shots out to 1,067 or even 1,350 yards. Impact splash is easy to spot thanks to well-placed berms and bare dirt backdrops.
- Zero Range: A dedicated 100-yard zero lane gets your rifle dialed before stretching it out.
- Covered Firing Positions: Two basic structures offer overhead cover, benches, and stools.
- Steel & Paper Targets: Paper board at 100; painted steel refreshed regularly.
- Pistol & Carbine Bays: Separate lanes support dynamic shooting without restrictive rules, making them ideal for 3-gun practice or defensive training.
While facilities are minimal (porta-john, honor box for payment), the range is well-kept and welcoming, and supports casual shooters and precision competitors. Occasional matches and benefit events are hosted here, and owner-led** instruction** is sometimes available.
Fouled Bore Precision is ideal for shooters who value practical long-range training without the overhead.
